As young girls get older, they build great friendships along the way. They meet new friends and try to blend the personalities of the girls that they want to be surrounded by. I have found incredible friends through my journey and every New Years Day I celebrate with them. My incredible husband takes 5 of our children out for the day and I prepare to visit with old friends, introduce new friends to each other and try to create a sisterhood of great souls for that afternoon. The day starts with tea and ends with a sharing of lives, thoughts and amazing love. The woman that are struggling at that time share their stories and the girls extend open arms to embrace those in pain. The woman that are happy, share their triumphs and the others celebrate on their behalf. Those who are caught in a time where they are making big decisions in their lives are met with a sisterhood of friends who do not judge and offer support and friendship.
This New Years Day start a sisterhood in your home.

I began with the usual rigmarole regarding kindness, respect, empathy and I had to stop myself. Do I always portray an image of kindness ? Am I respectful as I carry on with the minutia of my day ?
